  1. I love how he seemed genuinely overwhelmed by the Pacers’ run through the playoffs, that’s some authentic appreciation of the sport. Dammit I hate when I like listening to Clinton talk.

  2. Awesome comments from him and I’m glad there’s some discussion about the 30 year story arc this city has been on. I know it’s been on my mind.

  3. Lifelong Oklahoman here and growing up my dad had to fly a lot for work and he met Clinton in the airport when he was still governor of Arkansas and talked to him for a while. When he came back home from that trip he said he met him and emphatically said that guy will be president.

  4. Not a huge fan of Clinton but he has my respect for how he talks about OKC, he seems genuinely proud of how far we’ve come since April 1995

  5. That was a different time when Oklahomans actually came together and agreed that domestic terrorism was unacceptable. Now most okies enthusiastically endorse it and empower it every chance they get. Wild how quickly people forget. The hate McVeigh used as justification for the bombing is the same hate being glorified in this country right now.

  6. It’s like a cool drink of water in a desert to hear an eloquent statesman like that speak positively about Oklahoma. Maybe we’ll have that again someday.
