I understand the reasoning and that it’s the Olympic committee decision, but it really is disappointing to omit one of the best hockey countries from a global tourney.
At the same time slava Ukraini! Wish we could punish the country without also punishing the people.
It’s amazing how we have the most players going to Milan despite our two best being omitted.
I say we make them honorary Olympians for team Canada because I cannot bring myself to cheer for the US with their current roster.
I mean one of the most memorable moments in SPORTS HISTORY is the 1980 Miracle on Ice team that beat a USSR Russian cold war enemy hockey team, that was so dominant they were beating NHL ALL STAR teams at the time. they shouldnt be penalizing the players over politics . they’re also penalizing the audience keeping a top three team out .

Don’t worry, the US will be banned by the IOC over Greenland soon enough.
