I just don’t get it…why? We’d have to gut the team for him, he’s ancient, and that move isn’t winning us the East, let alone a Larry. We’ve got an interesting young team with cap flexibility going into next off-season, let it ride and see what happens.
Dallas would have to ship out Kyrie, or like 5 different players to make the money work. I don’t think it happens.
I also don’t think we trade for him, but our package of Wiggins and Rozier would work financially.
Heat were at points high favorites to land Giannis, KD, dame, and now LeBron. Man we have one of the greatest betting odds favorites teams of all time
MIA would only do this if they are controlling what they give up. LeBron isnt signing an extension here so they aren’t going to give up the money and future assets they’ve been trying to save up for a 1 yr rental. Wiggs/Rozier, and 2nd or maybe even Fonteccio and JJJ. Lakers are (like the Heat) trying to clear cap space after this year. LeBron could say “I’m leaving no matter what, either you get what little assets (JJJ/Highsmith/2 rounders), or you get nothing”. I still think it’s unlikely to happen but it’s not TOTALLY impossible since we have a few assets and the contracts that work.
The jersey sales alone and absolute hype train would make it worth it.
I love nostalgia and I wouldn’t mind more nationally televised HEAT games lol.

Honestly, I think the mavs would be setting up Cooper Flagg for failure trading for lebron. It would completely stunt his growth & development as a player until lebron retires.
