Sabres ’05/’06 Reunion: A GM Job Fair? #shorts

Listen, this is how the NHL works. If Brier got fired in Philly, I would do it. I would hire him. Yes, that would help. 100%. Is it the best idea? I don’t know. I keep saying every single time we talk about a former Saber. The ‘ 050 reunion is coming up in a couple of weeks. I am 1,000% serious when I say have it be a GM job fair, right? 1,000%. Drury’s probably getting fired in New York. Max Definoff is coming in. What are you doing, Max? What do you think? What are you up to? The 0506 reunion is a job fair. Yeah. Who wants to work here and get us on track? Everybody loves everybody in this room because of what that team was. Ryan Miller, do you want the job? Thomas Vanic, do you want the job? Do some of you guys want to come in and just help? Does somebody want to be an advice? You might have to give them bigger jobs because they all work. They all currently work for the Right. Exactly. They all work for the Sharks. But I think if you are able to get rid of the rot in the organization first and you approach a group of guys that all have incredible memories here, Lindy Ruff’s here again. Y can you get a band back? And is this, you know, just an emotional whatever? Maybe. But it could be great cuz those guys are all smart. Sure. Miller is smart. Jury is like all of them are smart guys and it’s not unusual in hockey to hire people that have run your organization before. It’s just how how it’s done. Exactly. And in the case of Miller and Vanic, like they’re working in front offices, right? So, or you could hire a GM with experience. I mean, like whatever. There are so many ideas and some of them will be bad and some of them will be better. And I’m not kidding. I think the job fair, the 0506 job fair is my favorite idea I’ve had in a while. Tony Ludman, are you here? Do you want the job, right?
