Every time I see these posts about Trop tickets I’m kinda shocked at the prices. It feels like random seats are way too expensive for a place dealing with attendance issues.
It’s such a scam. They find a way to jack up the prices for every game, it seems. Stu knows that people won’t be incentivized to go with these prices, despite any giveaway. It’s all an effort to “prove” there’s no interest in the team.
There was a promotion for $15 outfield seats for this game and multiple others. Just FYI.
I think they are. It’s all part of a strategy to lower overall attendance. They did the same for the Phillips basketball Jersey. Party deck was like $45.
To be fair, for one of the AL’s top teams and compared to the big market clubs that’s not terrible. But yeah that does seem off.
If you don’t want to buy the ticket add-on… maybe don’t buy the ticket add-on?
It seems more like you’re looking for a reason to bitch and moan more than anything.
I’m going to a Rays game @ the Marlins later this month and we are sitting front row behind the visiting dugout for $30 pp out the door. I actually spend most of my weekends paddling and was like I’d love a Rays straw hat. Took one look at that ticket price and ordered a much nicer looking one from FOCO.
Y’all being dramatic. There’s still $15 dollar ticket offers right now. There’s still College student tickets, as well as Salute to Service and kids eat free. This is a Special Event Saturday ticket for a lower level corner ticket with a Margaritaville hat.
