Just a reminder for anyone who doesn’t know or remember the rules:
A pitcher has 30 calendar days to complete a rehab assignment (a hitter has 20). So the rehab assignments are significant. It means the pitchers we have on these rehab assignments will need to be rostered – taken off the 60-day – when these rehab assignments are complete. If they have options, that’s what’s going to happen unless they’re 100% ready to go. If no options (Anderson, for instance) they have to roster the player or expose them to waivers and DFA.
Can’t wait for Chirinos to get back. Guy was outstanding before the injury
Man, I miss McKay. Always felt bad for that dude.
McKay: 3 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 2 BB, 2 K, 1 HR.
Chirinos: 2.1 IP, 2 H, 1 ER, 0 BB, 3 K, 0 HR
