Strider’s post game comments made things worse, imho. He complained about lucky hits and bad calls. I get it, but there’s a difference when the fans have those gripes and when the players do it…
plus the mets have a .302 BABIP and the Braves a .298 BABIP….
Strider should take accountability. It’s a bad look for a team going into the post season.
I blame my scaphoid in my left wrist / hand for being mostly healed now. Broke it on Memorial Day right before the Braves went on that 14 game win streak. Maybe it’s time to break something else…?

Honestly I’m not sure I’ll feel pain again for a few years.
Winning is still more fun than losing but a world series ring is enough to keep me happy for a long time. Whatever we do this year is all bonus.
I am not crazy! I know the Mets swapped those scores! I knew it was 4-1 Braves! One loss after four wins. As if the Braves could ever make such a mistake. Never. Never! I just – I just couldn’t prove it. The Mets – they covered their tracks, they got that idiot operating the scoreboard to lie for them. You think this is something? You think this is bad? This? This chicanery? They’ve done worse. That scoreboard! Are you telling me that a bloop hit just happens to fall like that? No! He orchestrated it! Mr. Met! He defecated through a sunroof! And Blooper saved him! And he shouldn’t have. He took him into his own ballpark! What was he thinking? He’ll never change. He’ll never change! Ever since 1963, always the same! Couldn’t keep his hands out of the umpire’s pockets! But not our Mets! Couldn’t be precious Mr. Met! Robbing them blind! And he gets to be a mascot!? What a sick joke! I should’ve stopped him when I had the chance! And you – you have to stop him!
That is absolutely brutal. And absolutely accurate. I really wish the home plate umpire’s report card was made available to the everyday fan in the box score. For all of them, not just CB Fucknor. It’s going to be an interesting couple of months, gang. Let’s get choppin.I wish I knew how to attach the clip
