  1. An interesting note: Wheeler and Nola by themselves have a combined WAR (3.1) higher than the entire starting pitching staff of 13 teams (those ranked nos. 18-30).

  2. We need to just shut up about all this and enjoy this and not get all statistical and jinx this shit. This could be fun lets just shut up and let the good times roll.

  3. Phils pitchers and racking up WAR, a classic combo.

    Seriously though, Wheeler and Nola have been great. Nola would get so much more credit if he’d been on a team with a half-decent defense given how much lower his ERA is to his FIP every year. Hitters park sure doesn’t help either.

  4. isn’t this significantly out of date? most of our starters have well over 100 inning pitched now.

  5. Shows deGrom has 46 ip? That can’t be right. Didn’t he just make his first two starts this past week?
