It blows my mind that these peoples *jobs* are to keep up with baseball, and you gonna write some shit like that when franmil hasn’t even been on the major league roster much recently let alone some sort of “offensive contributor” that others will need to “pick up the slack for” like gtf. Sorry for rant
They’re a baseball team. They’ve played baseball in the past and one would presume in the future as well.
The slack in question was created by Franmil and the lineup automatically became taut as soon as he was optioned to AAA
Nolan Jones : RBI every 5.1 AB, SO every 2.8 AB
Oscar Gonzalez : RBI every 7.9 AB, SO every 4.4 AB
Franmil : RBI every 9.4 AB, SO every 2.5 AB
Let’s hope Jones and Gonzalez do not, in fact, make up for what we’ve lost in Franmil.
At least the ranking seems reasonable, but yeah, what a worthless write up.
Is it that hard to give a simple recap of the week?
These write ups are always the same. Blank has struggled this year, can blank and blank pick up the slack?!?!?
They have to write 30 or these every week. What happened last week? Fran mil was dfa’d Gonzalez was activated to take his active roster spot and Jones replaced him at DH. Not sure what the issue is. It’s cut/paste writing style but nothing factually wrong.
Why always such a negative slant haha. If this team played in a “big market” they would be hyped like crazy being this young and in the thick of the division race
