  1. So deserving. He still refers to the Giants as “us” and “we”. That man loves the Orange and Black.

  4. No question, we don’t win the 2014 championship without him. You can never completely recognize the amount of benefit a leader like him can bring to a club in October.

  11. If nothing else, this season they honored my three favorites: Buster, Thrill and now the Reverend.

  13. Favorite recent Pence moment: hits a home run in the celebrity softball matchup at this year’s ASG, where he was forced to wear a Dodgers jersey. Upon rounding the bases he rips off the jersey to reveal a Giants t-shirt underneath. Forever Giant!

  15. This is good news but it sucks that the two things this season will probably most be remembered for are the Will Clark dedication game and Hunter Pence’s plaque. I’d much prefer a competitive watchable team.

  16. I think they should put his silhouette in the second archway to memorialize his “Pence on the fence” moment.

  18. Good for Hunter, he is part of so many great Giants memories. I’m glad he’s still around as a broadcaster.

  21. Hunter is a fucking legend but TBH it feels like our Giants are stretching for things to celebrate this season
