  1. I don’t understand the point of it. The last thing the Hornets need is another guard that can score but not defend. Only way the Hornets would ever end up with another guy of his archetype on the trade market is if they are a third team in some other trade and they are compensated for taking him on. He isn’t a positive asset for this roster.

  2. This is only makes sense as a Plumlee dump. But thats too much to dump him for. Coby White is unappealing for this team.

  3. I’m fine with it it’s another reason to watch the hornets being a suns fan from Nc

  4. I guess it’s a dump to get rid of Plumlee, but I feel like we could get better value back.

  5. Nah. We need plumlee as a backup. This makes us substantially worse. Coby white ain’t it.

  6. Like others said, I don’t think Coby makes much sense for us. We need a PG, not a SG, and Coby has proven he can’t really run an offense in the NBA. I still might do this though, just because 2 2nd’s seems like a small price to pay for a young player with his future potential.

Having said that, this also seems like an overpay for the Bulls. They’re essentially giving up Coby White and a first for Jarred Vanderbilt. Coby White alone is probably a better asset. He might not be better for the Bulls, but he’s still a young player and a tanking team like the (soon to be) Jazz could honestly probably prefer him.

  7. As much as I hate plumlee. Coby white is not needed at all for us. We don’t need another guy who provides offense and nothing else.

  8. I like Coby personally and I think Plumlee plus two 2nds is fair for him. I just don’t think Coby fits or helps the Hornets at all.

I’d probably pass based on fit.

  9. I didn’t click on the link, I don’t know the details of the trade, but my UNC fan in me will never turn down trading Plumlee for Coby. So take it for what it’s worth, but we signed IT and gave him minutes, traded the 13th pick for a worst one, so it would probably be better than some of the moves we are making as of late. But if Plumlee is still stealing minutes from younger, better players halfway through this season, I’m going to lose my mind.

  10. Coby wouldn’t wanna back up one Ball to back up the other Ball.

But, as a UNC fan I’d like it but that’s it

  11. Why would the bulls give up a FRP and a young, decent PG for an end of the bench PF?

  12. I’d rather we get Vanderbilt out of the deal honestly. Can’t explain it but I just can’t help but see a little Dennis Rodman in his game
