You’d absolutely have been laughed at! I remember people were saying the Hawks were overpaying in hypos that just involved like Capela, Collins, and Hunter (or Heurter and a pick) or that OG Anunoby and Gary Trent Jr from the Raptors was too steep a price — there were definitely even worse ones that I’m forgetting that people found fair. Thank God that other NBA teams were able to see how good Rudy truly is and weren’t blinded by whatever r/NBA folks are blinded by.

I had this thought the other day. TWolves fans would say you were delusional and there is no way they would give up that much. Jazz fans would say that’s fair, knowing that we are getting a king’s ransom for him.

You look at the West and I don’t even know if this gets us to the 2nd round if all the teams are healthy without players taking a step up. We probably aren’t better than full-strength Nuggets, LA Clippers and Warriors. We are probably around the Grizzlies, Suns, and Pelicans.
On a positive note at least we will beat the Lakers!
