  1. I really hope they make a public statement to slow down the rumors.

Hearing the same Brown Durant trade rumors every single day for the next few months is going to piss Brown off eventually.

  2. Keeping jb is the way. You trade a guy like KD to get a jb for the long term. Brooklyn wins this trade if we went for it

  3. You know who has a better idea of Browns intentions than a random “NBA Exec”? Brad Steven’s, which is why he is going to either trade him or not trade him. People acting like Brad is just making this trade without any motivation is so mind numbing. There is 10 post a day saying “ I would never trade brown Durant” as if any of us know more than Brad and the Celtics. If he makes this trade it’s not just brown for Durant on a player level… there is a bigger picture and motivation that would push Brad into making a deal

  4. NBA Central says that AHNFire says that Steve Bulpett wrote. . .

There’s a thread about what Bulpett wrote.

  5. This has always been my read on him, but I am an idiot who knows nothing.

Brad is around him all the time, I am comfortable with him making any decision. If Brown wants to be here long term we would be absolute fools to trade him for almost anyone. If he doesn’t… then I trust Brad to make that move if it comes down to it too.

  6. I feel whole heartedly he will decide to stay in Boston. I read he bought Hayward’s house in Wellesley too. He’s not leaving until he brings Banner 18-20 to Boston 😁 (I hope).

  7. The Finals appearance and the way Jaylen played on that stage was huuuuge for him and his commitment to the team in my opinion

Showed team growth and more national personal recognition

  8. Durant —Tatum is a top-5 duo of all-time. 25, 34; 26,35; 27,36; 28,37.

28;37 is the only year, I think, where Durant might take a step back (look like Klay in the 2022 NBA Finals. In other words, still good enough to win a championship with). It almost guarantees a championship, most likely two.

A 28 year old in his prime, champion Tatum certainly attracts another max player.

Brooklyn cannot do better than Jaylen Brown. Jaylen Brown will love Brooklyn. Wait Brooklyn out, but if the Celtics have a chance to do this trade Stevens would be insane/negligent not to do it.
