10 players to watch in the Bears preseason opener vs. Chiefs

1. Fields is obvious, but I am really interested to see Jones against live competition since they seem to be leaning towards giving him the job.

2. Before I read.

   Offensive side of the ball. Every player.

   – We should see a lot of the rookies on the line (Brax, Kramer, etc.)
   – The misc WRs we throw out there

   BUTTTT. The biggest item for me is Luke Getsy’s scheme and playcalling on display for the first time. What are his tendencies… what are we gonna look like from a high level perspective is really want I want to see

3. My list in no particular order and a brief reason:

   – Fields – Quick execution and a grasp of playbook would imply the progress we’re looking for.
   – Jones – Is this for real or just development if someone goes down?
   – Borom – Is it shutdown or is there wiggle room for Reiff/Jenkins to step in?
   – Brisker – Rookie…
   – Gordon – Might be hurt, but I’d love to see our 1st pick play football.
   – VJJ – The depth chart is so thin, let’s see if we got an immediate impact player.
   – Finke – Young and lots of chatter from the Hoge & Jahn camp.
   – Robinson – Rookie… and people seem to be excited.
   – Jenkins – Can he be apart of the future and look the part?
   – Blasingame – What does a play with a FB look like?

4. It will be fun to watch the over reactions at every mistake.

5. I just hope a “fire Nagy” chant gets started. Or fuck Nagy would be good too
