  1. that’s seems a little high in aav but i think it’ll pay off. he’s a good 3RW

  2. I like it. He’s a dependable player with some size and can slot in almost anywhere in the lineup, if needed. I wouldn’t expect him to play top 6 time long term but certainly middle 6.

Having a guy who can play those positions at that AAV should give us room to sign a big splash guy down the road

  3. I didn’t think we’d be going to arbitration with a guy we traded back for from Seattle. Happy with some term here

  4. I think he can live up to 2.16 per, I like it

Anyone know if this takes him to UFA once it’s over?

  5. If he has seasons like 20-21 this will be a very good value contract. If he has seasons like 21-22, it will not be a good value contract. I would put money on 20-21 being a better predictor of him than 21-22 though.

  6. A slight overpay in my opinion, but I’m happy to have him for three more seasons.

  7. Friedman looks like a Jets fan who’s been staying up waiting for Chevy to do something.

  8. I like Appleton. He’s not an elite scorer, but he tries hard and plays a good 2 way game.
I’m glad we got him locked up for a couple.
