  1. Hi everyone!. Same story as before with the Python code generating the plot using pandas, pybaseball, and matplotlib. New version written in Julia (see below) uses DataFrames, CSV, and PlotlyJS.

    Updates:

    * Finally got the Julia version working! The early version of the plot looks like [this](https://imgur.com/a/Z9wyiee). Please let me know what you think of it so far. I’ll probably keep it in this comment each week until I feel I’ve formatted it enough to be comparable to the Python version. One thing I’ve noticed while writing this was that I managed to do the same amount of work in 1/3 the amount of code lines, which is utterly amazing. The code’s already in the GitHub link if you want to view it yourself.

    TODO:

    * Julia version:

    > * Add total season bar below like in Python version
    > * Change colors to be similar to Python plot
    > * Tweak font sizes/styles of various text objects

    Please feel free to suggest any more improvements, I love to hear your feedback

  2. 39-15 (.709… a 114.87 win pace) vs the NL East is silly

    5-12 vs Mariners, Astros, Padres, Dodgers… 70-28 (.714 or a 115 win pace) vs everyone else is even sillier.

    19-8 (.704 a 114 win pace) vs Phillies and Braves is the silliest

  3. A season sweep would be cool, and there’s one place (of the possible 3) it’d be EXTRA special…

  4. We are, by my count. 14-3-1 in season series so far, with one not yet played (Athletics).

  5. 53% of remaining games are against Nats, Marlins, Pirates, Rockies, A’s. That is, tantalizing.

  6. We are so dominant in the NL East. Would like to win a lot against the Braves.
