Two words to sum up that game: Growing Pains.
That’s such bad baseball management to not have Nicky attempt to steal second there. You have a fast infielder at first who regularly swipes bags and a struggling rookie at the plate. You could see that play happening from a mile away. It’s like we have completely abandoned the run game for the fucking contact game.
I think it’s asinine to challenge just because you can. Both runners were obviously out.
In tough times like this remember to ask yourself “What would Jesus Reyes would do?”

Talk about crashing back to earth, we regressed big time. Start all the rookies, let them play. As soon as O’Hearn and MAT got shoved into the game all hope was lost. Another starter sent out when it’s clear they’re done. Even with that, we had a chance to win. Just let them fucking play
