  1. >With A.J. Brown and Zach Pascal now in the mix along with DeVonta Smith and Quez Watkins – and possibly Greg Ward and conceivably Jalen Reagor and maybe even Britain Covey – there just wasn’t a spot for Arcega-Whiteside in the WR room.
But he’s always been a very good blocker, he’s a physical player, and with only Jack Stoll, Grant Calcaterra, Tyree Jackson, Richard Rodgers and Noah Togiai behind Dallas Goedert, why not give him a look at tight end?
“I always embrace challenges,” JJAW said after practice Tuesday. “Always embrace anything I have to work for. I don’t like things given to me. I like to earn things, and this is definitely one of the biggest challenges I’ve faced in football.
“My goal isn’t just to play tight end but to play it at a high level.”

  2. Switching from POS Eagles player to POS Seahawks player.

I believe he can make the switch

  3. I doubt we try him at TE, seems like another Pete classic big body WR reclamation project in the mold of Big Mike Williams

  4. No shot hes swapping to TE, and if he does the TE room is already full of guys Pete has been speaking highly. Hope he has some sort of return to form, having him and DK on opposite sides of the field sounds bad for teams with tiny CBs.

  5. With the TE and WR room being kinda packed, I almost wonder if he’ll see time at FB. Marcele Reece would be kinda comparable, close-ish builds even. If JJAW seems to excel at run blocking it’d be a good spot, with the ability to run some swings/screens/whatever. With how thin the LB room is too, it frees Bellore up to play more on D.

  6. I vote for FB. He can’t be any slower then a real dedicated FB and he’s a damned good blocker so even if it doesn’t work out…no harm so lol
