Honestly I don’t think you’re off base. I do think this conf subtlety made it aware that this team no longer took woody serious as a mgr. I expect them to employ a much stricter more regimented manager to clean up focus, fundamentals and errors.
One other thing: CY actually seemed mad/irritated that entire meeting. Kinda odd
Was this a Chis Young firing? Woodward was the manager in place, when he got the GM job. Maybe he wants to bring in his own guy.
This is JD following Management 101. When you suck at your job you blame someone else and fire them.
