  1. Hey guys. Mets fan coming in peace. Just wanted to say GGs and…

***SIKE — FUCK THAT STUPID BULLSHIT. WHERE’S OUR FRONTPAGE SECTION ON*** r/BASEBALL? ***LETS GET A POST FOR THE ICE CREAM MACHINE, THE FINAL OUT, THE LINDOR FORCE OUT BECAUSE ALONSO IS STUPID, BATY FUCKING UP AND LETTING GRISSOM ON BASE, AND ONE OF BLOOPY STUNTIN ON THOSE HOES JUST FOR GOOD MEASURE.***

  2. A playoff series between the mets and the braves would cause me VERY high blood pressure.

  3. Remember Mets fans acting like they won the world series after winning the mid-season series in NY?

  4. LOL funniest part is Mets fans think they found Harris / Vaughn in Baty. Only one AA in this town

  5. The Mets are fucking dogshit. That’s all.

Kidding but they are nowhere NEAR as good as their record lol. In time the world will see. They have DeGrom. They have Scherzer. They have Diaz.

And they have a bunch of scrubs.

  6. Who knows if we will be able to run the Mets down but really proud this team didn’t just roll over. Smacked them around this weekend and if Kyle went instead of Odo could have definitely swept.

  7. In the midst of this win, can we all take a moment to appreciate that Peter Moylan’s “name” on Twitter is “Money Moylan”?

  8. Perfect. I considered these last 2 games to be a test for this team and our rookies in the playoffs. Need to be able to produce against pitching like deGrom and Scherzer, and we did both nights, even though we lost last night.

  9. I want behind the scenes video of the ice cream machine arrival like he’s a top prospect or free agent arriving for their debut.

  10. Is it bad that I’m glad the Braves won only because my ex-girlfriend (a diehard Met) had talked about going to this series with me before she broke up with me last month? It might be petty of me, but Hahahahhahaha!!!

  11. In case anyone hasn’t seen… the Astros just SHIT on the White Sox 21-5. We got another tough three games coming up.

  12. We literally have Wright, Strider, and Morton lined up for the Astros series somehow and we miss Verlander. Mets go to Philly for 4 without deGrom and Scherzer.

  13. Vaughn Grissom is 2 for 5 against Max Scherzer and Jacob deGrom. That’s pretty absurd for a guy who left AA a week and change ago.

    Edit: Fixed numbers

  14. The division deficit is back to what it was at the beginning of the 5 game series up in Queens LOL

  15. I keep feeling like taking the division lead is this year’s version of what getting to .500 was in ‘21. We’ve never been too far out. Close but no cigar a couple times. Once it happens, it’s going to be “asses and elbows” just like Ozzie said last year.

  16. So, the trashtros are coming to town. Kyle game 1, Strider game 2. I’m assuming uncle Chuck for game 3.

  17. This is the kind of demoralizing loss that could set the Mets up to spiral going on the road to face a tough Phillies team

  18. That shit was so intense but we have to turn around and play another giant series tomorrow night. This should be a fun weekend

  19. Met fan here. I came to this sub after the Met series in NY where we took 4/5. Lots of you guys were saying division over and whatnot. I said then “hey just wait we have 4 at the A.” You guys delivered. Playoff atmosphere. Well done. Can’t wait to see you guys again in October.

Edit: Also, where the hell are you finding these rookies man. They got 🥜.

  20. It says a lot for guys as young as Max and Spencer to show up for their kids. The Mets owe them nice fathers day gifts next year.

  21. Mets fans really shouldn’t be doomsaying. Fried’s the best pitcher we threw all series. Nobody’s figured him out. Plus I would not have predicted scroring 7 against scherzer and losing, but scoring 3 against degrom and winning

  22. This isn’t even our final form. We have one of the best 2B in baseball coming back and potentially a former Cy Young candidate as well

  23. Grissom grinding out a tough ab against deGrom, knocking him out of the game and then scoring the winning run makes him my MVP of the series

  24. Injured 2B Ozzie Albies yelled out, “There you go! There you go.” Superstar Ronald Acuna Jr gave a look of pleasant surprise. Ace starting pitcher Max Fried yelled out, “We got an [expletive] squad now.” And before Snitker hit the locker room door, current Mets manager Buck Showalter hugged him and said, “Y’all look so different.”

  25. Best thing about tonight other than the ice cream orgy happening in the clubhouse is Nimmo getting set the fuck down 3 times.

  26. Alright I’ll say it, this series is much more fun when the Mets and Braves are both good. Outstanding showing by the boys. LFG

  27. Hopefully we get the Dansby deal done soon and I imagine Grissom will move to LF, we will get rid of Ozuna, and have Rosario and Duvall as bench options plus sign one more guy this offseason

  28. I thought we were going to face Verlander next series, but it looks like that’s not happening ….
