  1. Was at the game with 4 friends who really don’t know baseball well. Thanks Yankees for getting them excited about the sport 😒

  2. We gotta get out of this slump now and not wait until the last minute. We keep up this slump and pretty soon it will be playoffs and we will have put ourselves out or in a wildcard playoff.

  3. It’s very simple.

If they spent the money on one of the 5 superstar SS in the off-season, they would have been able to offload peraza and/or Volpe for Castillo.

Instead they’d rather go for the cheaper option and hope they perform.

This is who they are now.

  4. If they completely shit the bed this weekend and get swept I need Michael Kay to call in to his show and absolutely tear this team a new asshole.

  5. Love the Bombers but face it. We’re cold and/or old. Stanton will help (if he recovers from what ails him), but our lineup is simply not good when DJ and Judge aren’t raking.

  6. I’ve never had it out for Cashman. But his handling of the team this year is just unforgivable. Guy has been here long enough. He needs to be gone after this season inevitably fizzles out wherever that might be. Guy has built one World Series team since 2000. One World Series in 22 years. That is just unacceptable for the Yankees.

  7. Never in my life remember a stretch like this. Maybe September 2000. This is simply been embarrassing

  8. HUH MAYBE TRADING YOUR TEAM WHEN YOU ARE DOING GOOD IS A BAD IDEA AFTERALL CASHMAN!!! FIRE CASHMAN!!!!!!

  9. Joey Gallo has a higher batting average as a Dodger, than Andrew Benitendi has as a Yankee.

Frankie Montas has a 9.00 ERA as a Yankee in 3 starts.

Jordan Montgomery has a 0.54 ERA as a Cardinal in 3 starts.

JP Sears has a 1.74 ERA in 2 starts for Oakland.

  10. Better to get these struggles out of the way now instead of October. I think we’ll be a better team for it.

  11. Doomer = Hals best customer disgruntled people who want more pain instead of going elsewhere 😂😂 you doomers do realize Hal and company don’t care if the green comes with a smile or a tear?

  12. I was bored to tears and I was at the damn game. I made a bet with my friends that if they get 5 hits I’d give them 30 bucks each lmao. This is boring AF and I barely have any energy left to watch them

  13. Old saying: Good pitching beats good hitting.

**New saying: ANY pitching beats Yankees hitting.**

Bring us your tired, your weak, your poor…we will greet them with wild swings and weak grounders and make them look like All-Stars

  14. I’ve been going to games since Mattingly’s rookie season when I was a kid, and I can honestly say that tonight was one of – if not the very most – lifeless performances I’ve seen from a Yankees team live in person. I’m sitting here trying to think back to really solid contact tonight and the only few I can recall are Cabrera’s single in the 5th, Judge’s lineout in the 3rd, and Donaldson’s hit. There might have been one or two others I’m not remembering but it was just ugly all around.

I don’t even know what these Benintendi at-bats are. Flailing time and time again.

IKF has now grounded into 12 double plays. For a light-hitting guy like that, you just can’t pile up those numbers.

Taillon’s stuff is just meh. Nothing jumps out. The Monty trade continues to baffle me.

Also I slipped and almost busted my ass jumping out of my seat on that Cabrera snatch over the wall. About the only fun moment of the night. Trivino’s Houdini act was nice, but you could feel it in there… everyone knew we weren’t scoring.

I’m going to find something to watch not sports-related, have a drink, and do this dumb shit all over again tomorrow. Goodnight.

  15. Watching Boone on YouTube. He’s actually pissed. I’ve never seen him so pissed. And he’s right, the lead doesn’t matter because we’re playing like complete garbage.

  16. I seriously don’t get the Boone bashing when Cashman is the real issue. And you can tell he’s sneaky when all off season he said Boone has autonomy. When we win, everyone looks good but when things go bad, Boone will fall on the sword and Cash will get off scot-free (as usual).

Edit: not necessarily absolving Boone but it’s so apparent how he’s being set up to take the fall for Cashman’s constantly poor decisions.
