Watch out, mlb, he’s turning back the clock.
I ♥️ modern stats.
Izz good mang.
Where’s the salad with salsa? It’s voodoo magic time.
“or older”
He’s also the first 42 year old Cardinal with the initials AP to hit 2 HR on a Saturday in Arizona
What an insanely specific statistic. I love it. I’d let Albert fuck me.
This is a very “in Vegas Golden Knights history”-esque stat and I hate it
Full 2020 season and he’s over 700, more importantly surpassed A-Roid. Thanks Rona
The HR Derby appearance really re-awakened something inside of Albert
First 42 year old to go 4 for 4 that Adam wainwright can do an impression of
I love analytics, mang
String Bean McGillicuddy almost accomplished this at age 43 in the second game of a 1921 doubleheader. He entered the 9th inning with 1 triple and 2 home runs. But with the season on the line, Akron brought in ace Tungsten Arm O’Doyle to face the Allentown slugger. O’Doyle, who had pitched all 16 innings of the first game of the doubleheader, struck out McGillicuddy to end the game and Allentown’s hopes of winning the pennant. McGillicuddy would play only nine more seasons before retiring at 52, having never played in a World Series.
