  4. We’ve hyped how well the Bronocos did in preseason the last two or three years just to watch our season go down the drain. I’m not freaking about preseason. I’d rather have a game like that during the preseason then in the regular or post season

  5. It definitely sucked watching our guys get absolutely embarrassed by Buffalo in all aspects last Saturday, but the more time that passes since that abysmal showing, the less worried I am. Of course our run D looked atrocious: we were missing studs like DJ Jones, Mike Purcell, and D Williams, all of whom would never allow a team to average over 8 yards a carry against us. While our depth in the secondary and LB corps is a bit concerning, you also have to remember that we have finally have a legit QB, which means sustained drives capped off with touchdowns throughout the game. Even if our defense isn’t world-beater level good, for once they won’t have to be, because our offense will be keeping them on the sideline for longer than they have been used to the last 6 seasons. We probably aren’t going to win it all this season, but we will be a competitive team each and every Sunday, and that is 100% something to be excited about.

  9. It’s entirely possible we’ll suck for awhile still. Fans got excited about all the changes and Russ coming to town, but we have an all new staff and serious system changes with quite a few new players too. It’s going to take time.
