[Brandon Thorn] Cardinals LT Josh Jones played as impressive of a game as I’ve seen from anyone on the OL so far this preseason against the Ravens. Just a lot of impressive stuff on tape here from him.

Video is in tweet but can’t be fetched. Please DM to me with a link to submission because it’s not supposed to happen.

  2. Also, from two other posts on the thread:

    > Some of those ‘flash’ or ‘bait’ techniques he used were sick. Saw the snatch too. Strong base throughout. Jump set on the wide 9 + recovery. Movement in the run game. Couldn’t help but watch every snap of him in this one after he flashed early on. Notable performance.

    > Be careful about writing OL off after only a couple of years. Developmental isn’t always linear.

Some high praise and sage words. Looking forward to seeing Jones as our future starting RT/LT one day!

  3. Wasted a lot of time tryna move him around. Shoulda just let him hone in at left tackle since his rookie year so we coulda saved some money on hump.

  4. It’s almost like players play better in position instead of out of position. Like I understand why the had him play out of position but it seems to me like linemen pretty consistently get fucked up when their team starts shifting them around out of position. Josh Jones will probably go back to himself like he was his rookie year when he was playing his actual position.
