  1. No surprise the dodgers are #2. Also, no surprise the Giants dropped to 18. “But we won 107 last year”

  2. Aeverson Arteaga is a really good dude. He has become my kids new favorite baseball player and i am really happy to see him jump from 10th or 11th up to 5th on Maria Guardado’s top 30 prospect rankings for the giants.

My kids went with their cousins and grandparents to a couple Modesto Nuts vs San Jose Giants games and both times Arteaga chatted them up, gave them a fist bump and signed some autographs on foul balls they got. My kids gave him some candy they bought and the next game they went to he remembered them.

So if anyone wants a good prospect to root for, he seems like he would be a great future replacement for Crawford and a good guy in the clubhouse.

Only thing i told my kids was that Arteaga has Luciano ahead of him and they play the same positions. So either one gets traded or one switches positions

  3. So the Giants are old, can’t attract free agents, and their farm system isn’t as good as we thought. Is it okay to be concerned about the next few years?
