Originally, Chris Ballard didn’t want to take a shot on Kenny — he refused to add a corner 5-9 or shorter. Had to be talked into it, around 2 a.m. the night of final cuts, by then-scout Kevin Rogers. (Rogers has since been promoted)

Very good decision.
IIRC, Ballard had to be similarly sold on Isiah Rodgers as his size was less than desirable.
Yeah I had the chance to hang out with Kenny recently and he’s like, pretty shockingly short.
Turns out he’s just a fucking *dawg*.
Kenny is a good example of a person not letting a potential physical liability (height) get in the way of their dreams… Thankful that Chris Ballard is giving Kenny a chance to play in the NFL… Love reading success stories like these…
Reminder: Kenny (5’9″) was measured with longer arms than Richard Sherman (6’3″).
Sounds like Ballard may have had his eyes on someone else, but fortunately ended up with a little Moore.
