Apparently I can’t award my own post. This game had so much ASTROS HISTORY converging. Correa, Yordan’s parents seeing him play for the first time in 6-7 years, this accidental pitcher change and some Umps letting a manager mouth off while their pitcher warms up, Correa breaking our No No, Altuve showing unusual emotion, Peña being a badass in the face of his shadow. I mean….. wow. Grateful to have been there and to be an Astros fan.
Also glad to have this sub. Thanks to all of you and our Mod team.

Maton, Staneck, Montero, Abreau, Smith… even Neris? Who’s had solid consistent outings in the last three weeks? Martinez? Every guy that comes in puts people on base. Then they get a screamer luckily at someone that gets caught… or a lucky ground ball at an infielder for a DP… “Got my guys.” Shit. They’ve all been clobbered!
Look at the losses in Chicago. Tonight, without Bregman’s home run, Verlander probably ends up with a no decision for 3 games in a row, while throwing BBs. WTF?
