1933-The Old Grandstand Seats at Fenway-No, it’s not just you, we’re all getting fatter. At a mere 15 inches wide, these slim, vintage seats remain as an uncomfortable reminder of just how far the American gut has swelled. Today, a club level seat can hold up to 24 inches of deep fried girth.

  1. I love you Boston fans, great sense of humor, always one of my favorite subs to share to. And Nothing says humiliation like having to move the entire table just to slide my fat ass into the booth at Applebee’s.

No way I’m getting into those grandstand seats without lube.

  2. Grabbed a day of single ticket a few seasons ago on a whim. I’m at 5’10 150lbs. I got seated between two dudes each at 250lbs+. My seat was enveloped. I gave up after 4 innings. Not fun.
