That Slater piece on Wiseman didn’t sit well with me. Sure he has a lot to prove but don’t put so much pressure on the poor guy. Thats not how he’s gonna succeed.
Read a Warriors blog recently which discussed the idea of trading Draymond Green given his age and desire to get a max contract. To be clear, I don’t think Lacob would allow a trade of Dray. They are very close, he sits in on all drafts and Dray would have to pull something dramatic to exit Golden State. I think he’s here forever.
But it got me thinking, if the Warriors lock in Poole with a contract extension before the season, how does the Dray-wants-a-max problem conclude? We all know he isn’t getting a max from Golden State, although a desperate team might risk it for relevancy sake.
If Wiggins builds on his playoff run, next offseason is going to be interesting for free agent Wiggins and the Warriors FO.
