  1. Dude averaged less than 235 yards per game during his time in Seattle.

That’s too much to handle, he wants to throw for less than 200. 150 would be ideal.

    🤡

  2. *asks for 20% of the cap in contract negotiations*

    *pushes “Let Russ Cook movement”*

*Complains about having to carry the team*

  3. Guy has zero accountability. Sherm was right on him. But his fan boys will continue to make every excuse in the world for him, cause you can’t criticize their messiah.

  4. Tyler runs wide open over the middle. Russ thinks to himself, nope gotta carry the team on my shoulders, throws incomplete pass 60 yards downfield or takes sack lol

  5. Quick someone Tweet this to Richard Sherman, Marshawn Lynch, Doug Baldwin, and KJ Wright (all retired greats who can speak freely)

  6. There was the 2017 season (leading passer / leading rusher / 37 out of 38 TDs)… but it’s been a while

  7. To anyone who thinks that these aren’t fighting words, I want you to imagine this situation. You’ve just broken up with your girlfriend of 10 years and you’re carrying the final box of your shit out of the house when she says “can I just ask why you’re leaving…I feel like I never got a good answer..” You turn to her and say “I was just tired of carrying the whole relationship by myself…”

Now tell me, exactly how upset is she with you?

  8. Russ digging into the Attitude Era heel, love it. No idea what to expect for week 1 since we’ve seen zero from a lot of the actual starters. Crowd is going to be wild to start, Jamal/DK/etc will be fired up. Assume Pete is hoping the run game can control the flow. Russ historically has thrived in these big moment games, even if it is just week 1, he will 100% be looking to make a statement with his new Russ tailored offense. Things can obviously change but given how preseason has gone, can’t say I’ll be thrilled to watch him drop 400 yards and 4 TD’s and hope the offense can match in a shootout. Hasselbeck did it in cast against the Saints in the playoffs though!

  9. Oh man, that is a straight up “Fuck You” to the Seahawks. This might be one of the only times Russell has ever been honest when it comes to talking about the team he is/was on. It’s honestly pretty fucking refreshing. Maybe he is a human, after all.

  10. Russ in 2020: I want me and DK to be like Steve Young and Jerry Rice

Russ in 2022: DK is a mess

  11. I feel like Pete Carroll should print this quote out on giant butcher paper and hang it in the locker room

“I was just tired of carrying the team on my shoulders alone”

    -Russell Wilson

  12. What… does he seriously not remember how he won a super bowl? Oh my god I didn’t want to hate him once he was gone, but wow. I guess the best defense of the last 20 years, a beast of a RB, Angry Doug, Lockett, DK, Jimmy Graham, etc all just aren’t enough for him. That’s so cool to hear.

  13. Lol 😂 omg as I suspected Russ has his hard so far up his ass.
I’m all for a guy having swag and for being proud but he’s become a monster.

  14. …did he watch any Broncos tape from last year? Or is he referring to having a better defense?

  15. And…that’s why, as much as I appreciate everything Russell did for us, I’m happy to see him go. Can’t be thinking you’re carrying the team.

  16. I’m sorry Mr. Wilson, but how many times have you gotten to the divisional round of the playoffs without an elite defense or running game backing you up?

You have consistently shown an inability to carry the team to anything meaningful.

  17. This sub before Russ left: Russ is carrying this team
This sub after Russ left: Russ ain’t carry shit

  18. If RW doesn’t do anything noticeable the next few seasons he’ll just be remembered as an elite QB who let his ego get in the way of success 🤷‍♂️
