  1. Keon’s upside and age (he’s only a few months younger than some of the lottery guys this year) means Portland would be stupid throwing even one pick at OKC. If anything the compensation would need to be coming the other way. Williams isn’t bad, but I’m not sure he’s anything more than a slightly below average backup.

    Just because he doesn’t have a path to playing time this year doesn’t mean he has no value. (Look at those prospects on Golden State).

    Hard pass.

  2. I don’t like the idea of sending out KJ + a 2RP, for a player that doesn’t move the needle, and has four years guaranteed. I would rather see KJ included with a player/contract like Hart, because that can bring back either a $15M player, or perhaps a couple of vets. Like another C/F, and a third ball handler. Ideally, on expiring Bird rights contracts, so POR can resign them without using exemptions if they want to.
