Neal is always an interesting one to see on these lists, I remember when that was announced and the response from fans seemed very positive. Nobody saw that nosedive coming. Also without Neal we never get Looch so it all worked out in the end.
A painful walk down memory lane. But we have Tanev, Markstrom, Kadri (I’m hopeful), Frolîk, Lewis, Gudbranson on the other side of the ledger.

There’s one upside to the Neal signing:
We got Looch. 😍
>With Jonas Hiller still around and youngster Joni Ortio ready to make the jump to the NHL, Treliving created a crowded situation by bringing Ramo back as well.
Hiller was suffering from vertigo and Ortio was not ready, and never did make the jump with the Flames or any other organization.
The bad signing of Ramo was the only ine we could really do at the time. Yeah, a bad signing, but also a ‘no other option, backs against the wall’ signing, so I dont count that one
Ah yes, James “The Real Deal” Neal was not infact, the real deal.
I love how some media guys work. Every reputable journalist in hockey is pumping Tre’s tires right now…. The Win Column – “Fuck that, remind em of the shitty signings”. Lol
Blake Coleman is still a toss up. 33pts for $4.9 as a 30yr old is looking risky
All of them have been besides Markstrom, which is why I’m concerned about Kadri
