TLR should have been replaced already, at least a month ago. Sox should have fired LaRussa and hired (re-hired) Ozzie for the remainder of the season, and then depending on how the team played under Ozzie, consider extending him after the season.
There is no way this team would have played worse under Guillen, and in my opinion (yes, I am a biased Ozzie fan) would have at the very least, been playing harder and hustling more.
This team has been sleep walking under the elderly, lifeless LaRussa.
I went to this game and all I got was a cap that didn’t fit my big head and a couple of souvenir cups.
Nice knowing ya, White Sox. Should have booted ol' man LaRussa last year

The Sox are 2-8 last 10, 63 W and 64L. The only "good" stat, yes, there is one, is that they are only 5 out of first. If the ownership is happy there is not much else can be done. If the owners do not want to field a championship team, this is it.
Hahn and Williams failed the Southside hardcore fans by not making considerable moves over the last two off seasons…. leave the “Hail Mary’s” to the go-nowhere “Arlington Height Bears”. Trade injured prone Jimenez, Moncada, TA and get some starting pitching… build up Burger, Vaughn, Sheets, Engel who are young, hungry, and exciting players.
