“If the Knicks manage to win the trade race for Utah’s Donovan Mitchell, or even if another team unexpectedly beats them to Mitchell, league sources say there’s a decent chance that the Lakers will be involved in the deal. The two future first-round picks that the Lakers possess in 2027 and 2029 are the kind of top-shelf draft picks that Jazz CEO Danny Ainge is believed to covet. Russell Westbrook’s $47 million expiring contract and those picks could be the Lakers’ entree to a potential three-team swap…depending on the players that would land in Los Angeles”

Trying to acquire someone like Bogdonavic maybe?
so tired of hearing about this trade
anything to have the Lakers in the news huh
Dont see it happening unless a 4th team gets involved. No available player on the Knicks/Jazz is worth a 1st from us let alone 2.
Who do the Knicks n jazz have that the lakers want?
Jazz take Russ, Knicks get Mitchell, Lakers get Fournier, Randle or Bogi, and Reddish.
I am sure Utah get plenty of picks but I would not mind it from any side
Just do it already. I think Clarkson and Bojan end up in LA
No Jazz or Knicks player would have the impact that an Indy trade involving Turner would. That takes so much pressure off AD and allows him to slim down/play his natural position.
Anything that gets Westbrook off the team
Westbrook going to the Jazz to be a tank commander is actually the best outcome for everyone involved.
Jazz get Westbrook plus a haul of picks
Lakers get Buddy and Turner
Pacers get picks and salary filler
Knicks get Donovan Mitchell.
I like the turner/heild deal better for them
Raise your hand if you didn’t see this coming.
Hey y’all!
Did you know Lakers are speculated to be in every trade that ever happens?
I really hope no opposing team is going to bail the Lakers out on this one. Russ isn’t going to bring playoff success to any franchise while he’s on that contract, but he’s not going to be a tank commander either. I don’t see why an opposing team would bail them out by giving them role players for Russ’s contract
Lakers getting everybody this summer
This is revenge for putting Book of Mormon on Broadway, isn’t it?
The Lakers would be interested if we put up Udonis Haslem for trade, apparently.
Why are 2027+2029 draft picks from any team “top shelf”
The lakers would be dumb as hell
To give up both firsts for any of the Utah/Knicks players.
Why would teams just bail out the Lakers out of goodness of their hearts?
Kevin Love
Would be funny if we get Donovan to the Nets, Kyrie to the Lakers, Westbrook to Utah (LOL)
Anything that makes Lakers better I do not care for
My will to win is strong but spite is stronger
