  1. Thank god Montero managed to not lose this one, please stop letting him pitch Dusty. He’s absolutely terrible

  2. We don’t talk about this series. Glad we escaped with a W. Let’s go unload on Arlington

  3. We won! We avoided a sweep and we won in the face of a handful of injuries! No complaints here!

  4. If you’re not the A’s you can’t sweep us!!! Lets Fucking GO! But on a serious note, Love how the bullpen is once again #1 in the league!

  5. Pretty good outing even if Verlander went down with soreness. Offense really needs to find a spark or we might be in trouble in the post-season.

And Montero is just, so not very good lately. I’m fairly confident in our pitching, but not in Montero, his closing starts have been bad lately.

  6. Orioles are definitely scrappy. With the most talented Minor League system in all of baseball they are rising up the ranks fast. Their rookie catcher looks like the real deal, switch hits, runs well, and calls games like a veteran already. Scary good they are getting! It’s good to see new teams coming up and challenging for the post season. Every team in the league seems to play us tough as they measure up with us seeing if they have what it takes to be a contender!

  7. Even though this series was absolutely dreadful, I will give the bullpen this: they held it down. All 3 games definitely were close and felt within reach, it didn’t feel like the game was lost before the 9th. And I think that’s largely due to our bullpen. Even fucking Maton held it down.

Good job, now let’s hopefully bring that bullpen energy into September and especially October.
