Dude, this trade is gonna be good for Denver. It really hurt to say goodbye to Monte in particular, but from a hoops perspective it makes total sense exactly as this author presents it. Nuggets also extended KCP which is a bonus on the risky trade. If Denver is truly healthy it will surprise a lot of people. STACKED

This is what i have been saying since trade “Yes, Denver giving up both Morris and Barton for KCP and Smith was probably an **overpay…**”
Overall i guess it will improve us but it was overpay. There were many situations going before trades that we could have get KCP without giving up Monte including giving first pick and i think that would have been real better. We are really thin on PG now without Monte and Murray just returning from injury. Hope it doesn’t bite us in the ass
