Happy Monday, everyone. It’s still a great day to extend Larkin. I’m looking at you, Stevie!
This offseason has felt so extremely long and the only reason I can think of is that this is the first time in many years I’m expecting a good team night 1.
American Airlines has absolutely shit the bed the last three times I have flown with them. Normally I don’t harp on airlines because I think they all take their turns having ups and downs, but American has been consistently bad. My last three flights have had a leg either completely canceled or moved back by an entire day, and all three instances have been completely different scenarios and American’s doing.
Of course, the only reason I even travel on American these days is because of issues with the United a while back. I really like Delta’s customer service and reliability, but they force you into so many connections and have an overly aggressive algorithm for rebooking people if there are slight delays.
Maybe it’s the Michigan in me, but I wish I could just drive everywhere I need to go. Actually I wish I could just take a high speed train, but this is America and we refuse to acknowledge that is a viable means of transport. Maybe John Madden was on to something…
Okay, end of rant. Anyway, I hope everybody’s Monday is starting off better than mine! I guess we are at least one day closer to Red wings hockey, and that’s my motivation for the day…
WWP had an interview with Ned on their most recent podcast. Pretty tight, would recommend.
