Kane did well in the playoffs no doubt. But he didn’t have a full year to: 1. Piss off the locker room 2. Pull his usual shit and lose focus 3. Piss off the fan base 4. Accrue more hate and debt in Edmonton. Give it time and they will soon wanna ship the cancer out I’m sure. I speculate he will start to drag that team down given a chance. He doesn’t like to be 2nd chair.
If there is such a thing as hockey karma or gods, Edmonton beat writers & fans trying to rehabilitate Kane’s public image based solely on his on-ice play should curse them to peak Minnesota Mild mediocrity for the next thirty years, at least.
