Hey fellow Canucks fans, I work as a fundraising coordinator for Canuck Place, and we’re doing a 50/50 Raffle before the season starts! This is seperate from the normal 50/50 Raffles Canucks for Kids does and will go directly to helping children with life threatening illnesses and their families at Canuck Place.

Can I play being a fan outside of BC?
These people are such heroes. To say it plainly, Canuck Place is where very sick children go to die, and where their families receive vital and ongoing support. It’s a very sad but very essential service that they offer.
Also, there’s a common misapprehension that the Canucks have a major role in funding this charity. In truth, I believe only about 5% of their funding comes from the Canucks for Kids organization (here’s [an old source](https://issuu.com/canuckplace/docs/2cpch_annualreport_2014-15_final_10) for that).
Having worked with them in the past, I can also say that they’re a very professional and efficient organization. I give to them annually, and any money you can spare will be put to excellent use.
