  2. What a weird signing. What is the point of a bad, rebuilding team like the Hawks keeping an aging, ultra-mediocre QB with zero future upside on the practice squad?

    Eason sucked, but at least he was still a young guy.

    The main reason the Mannion apologists gave as to why he needed to stick around in MN was he’s “good in the film room,” whatever that means, but at that point why not just hire him as a coach rather than wasting a roster spot? I guess if y’all are in full rebuild mode it doesn’t much matter one way or another if he’s there to hold a clipboard for Geno and Locke from the PS…

    If anybody is wondering how to feel about the signing in general, just hope and pray your season doesn’t get to the point where he has to take the field.

  9. Vikings fans haven’t celebrated this much since Minneapolis Miracle, this is all you need to know about him. He can probably help the young QBs but if he steps on the field you’re screwed

  10. Sean mannion was a really good presence in the Vikings locker room and he and Kirk had a special bond and he’s loved by teammates

    Yeah… I know he’s dead, but could he really do much worse than Geno or Lock??
