We’re keeping 5 rbs because they are made of glass and 4 of them will be injury by week 5.

This might just be me but I swear to god I feel like Kyle could have run the ball a lot more during the Jimmy years. Felt like he left it in Jimmy’s hands a little too often especially in very specific situations. Yes he runs the ball more than the average team but the context behind those attempts also matters imo. Hoping to see a better balance of useful attempts with Trey under the helm.
Only 5 WRs as well, which is where one of those extra roster spots for TE or RB came from.
Hasnt running the ball to set up play action basically been the mo of kyles offense? Is this really news?

Kyle is gonna do everything he can to make sure he’s not in a position where WR1 is also RB1 by necessity again.
Idk why but it bothers me so much that they’re saying 5 RBs and 1 FB….. it’s 6 RBs total, consisting of 5 HBs and 1 FB. Everybody just calls halfbacks “running backs” now.
It’s like if people started saying we have 5 DBs and 4 Safeties. In reality we have 9 DBs, 5 of which are CBs and 4 are Safeties.
Anyone who has seen the attrition with our running backs gets it
Leave it up to Kyle Shanahan to run an empty set with his 4 TEs and FB and it’s a QB Draw.
Why did they keep Sermon? The guy has absolutely no juice. Looks like he’s moving in slow motion out there.
