1. 5 picks is a haul. They might be able to get a late first for Lauri & they have other veterans that they can trade at a later date. This is a good trade from their perspective

   Sexton can also be a future trade piece, is still young, and averaged 24 ppg last time he played (personally not that high on him but). This is a good trade for them from a future roster building perspective. The Knicks could’ve beaten it but were clearly unwilling

2. Garland, Mitchell, LeVert/Okoro, Mobley and Allen.. that’s a pretty solid young squad

3. East is gonna be a bloodbath.

4. Further evidence that KD was never going to be traded.

5. Cleveland gave up unprotected picks 😳

6. Donovan and Garland are a questionable fit defensively, but besides that they’re looking real good right now.

7. A Motivated KD and Kyrie will be a force for any team to handle no matter what trades are made.

8. On a side note: Utah weren’t that mediocre to blow-up the whole roster

10. We should now be looking at potential trade pieces from the jazz. They will be having a fire sale. Expect guys like markanen, clarkson, Conley, bogdonavic, Rudy gay, and others to be moved quickly.

11. The something in the water for Utah players has to be salt from tears. They really be twisting the arms of franchises on these deals. The Thunder finally have competition for which team has the most picks ever in the first round
