NFL: New England Patriots vs. Miami Dolphins Week 1 Preview

A good but basic preview put together by the NFL. As someone pointed out since Tua is a lefty, his blindside would be guarded by the RT
Byron Jones starting on PUP should help but fuck am I afraid of their pass rush group. The OL can’t stop a nosebleed right now and they have the personnel to abuse that. Obviously that WR group is terrifying too. There’s a route for us winning this game but it largely involves forcing mistakes on defense and capitalizing. Need turnovers early and often. Shrink the field for the offense and we can hold a lead pounding the rock. We need to win at least one of this game or week 2 vs the steelers or our season could be over before it even starts.
Oof those game preview picks at the end… would be great for Bill & Mac to get their first win against Tua and get the rare win IN Miami against the dolphins. Can’t afford to lose both games against Miami this year.
Miami is always close, September is like the worst time to play there as it’s likely very hot and that sideline is apparently brutal, and their team is expected to be around peak goodness in this cycle as they’ve used up the cap space they saved during rebuild. So I’m expected a blow out. Whenever we think we will win we lose or it’s tight. Pundits picking Miami, our run game is a mess, oline communication problems. mac regressing, no OC. We are just going to murder them.
