    But from an actual analytic standpoint, this contract is outrageous. I don’t downplay Russel’s ability at all, but to not have played a single regular season snap in a brand new system, and get nearly half a billion dollars… that’s absolutely ridiculous. There’s never a reason to go completely for broke when you’re in a transition period.

    As far as Lamar, that’s true, now you’re forcing a team to “prove” their loyalty to one specific player. That’s not good for the team or for Lamar.
