    Okc and Utah are expected to be in the running for worst record this year. IF either of them beat the Pacers ping pong balls, say, get the 2nd and we the 4th or 5th, there’s a real good chance we could package all 3 FRPs to move up. (Assuming we’d want to. That’s all gonna depend on the talent gap between 2 and 5) the point is we could easily have a trade partner in that top 3 who would, I think, be interested in amassing more picks.

    Whether that’s worth giving up 2 mid to late FRPs is another point to debate, of course, but then, the questionable value in it for us is precisely what would make OKC or UTAH give the deal a serious look.

    Whatever the case, we’ll have maximum flexibility to go after who we want so long as his name’s not Wembanyama.

    Imagine we trade Myles and get another middle FRP? Then it’s on…I think we could have a shot at Wembanyama after all, if we wanted to throw the whole lot in.
