  1. FIRE CASHMAN

A collapse of this scale warrants Hal cleaning fucking house. There’s absolutely zero excuse for blowing a 16 game division lead.

  2. I used to cover high school football. Interviewed a coach after his team lost 48-7. and the TD came on a long run with about a minute to go in the game. He was dedicated to the Veer offense, and the TD run was his team’s 60th run of the game, along with about half a dozen short pass attempts. “Coach, did you ever think about going to the air a little more when it was 30-0 at the half?”

“In the Veer, you run enough and good things will break. You saw that TD run. That’s the Veer right there.”

I think of this every time a player insists that swinging from his heels for the fences will eventually pay off. “I know I’m 1-for 78, but the power is there. It’ll come.”

  3. Would george fire boone right now? (With a team in first place)?

    Has that ever been done?

  4. This team sucks and Cashman is a joke but we all know that. I just want to say batting Judge leadoff has got to be the dumbest idea ever. Lot of good that solo home run did. Fucking joke

  5. This team is so ass offensively it’s honestly hard to believe. We have judge and literally NOBODY else.

  6. They thought they were so smart that they could trade away young good starting pitching. Lol. Clean house now

  7. Cashman’s big off-season acquisitions are gonna be Josh Harrison, Justin Upton and Drew Smyly.

  8. The only thing that interests me in the regular season is if Judge can hit 62. Aside from that, not much to look forward too. Regardless of whether they win the division or not, this team will lose first series they play in October.

  9. Historic season indeed.

Historic start into historic collapse. Can’t wait to lose in the WC game.

Great fucking deadline Cashman. You really know how to win.

  10. My buddy who’s a casual fan really wants to go to a game this month. Fuck that, I’d rather watch the Somerset Pats

  11. Boone sounded totally defeated in the presser, which is an improvement if I’m being honest. I’d prefer angry, but at least he’s showing something other than “everything is fine please the boys are seeing the ball well it’s just a slump.”

  12. What old player that will ultimately be useless to us next season will Cashman pay for and take on the whole contract? My money is on Miguel Cabrera

  13. I’m shocked I haven’t heard any Calling for the heads of Lawson & BamBam yet?! Y’all were frying Mr. Long forever!

  14. Headlines read: “MLB hitters from the Bronx can’t catch up to low 90’s mph fastballs, wonder why they can’t stop losing”

  15. We’ve seen this snowball from a bad series (astros) to a bad week, to a bad month, to a bad summer, and thats basically half the season lmao. I suggest not to take this shit too seriously we can’t do much. Cashman sucks

  16. My Temple Owls shit the bed in the season opener against fucking Duke yesterday and now my beloved yankees can’t even win a baseball game. Life is going great.

  17. Infield of 3B Cabrera, SS Peraza, 2B Carlos Correa, 1B Rizzo next year. Yay or nay? Would you want this infield?

  18. What if no one goes to the stadium? I mean this team is not worth watching…not even on tv…. the only highlight is Judge….and i wont blame him if he leaves at the end of the season.

  19. Boys. And girls. Call me fake. But I’ve lost any ability to get mad anymore, i check the score. “L”. I laugh and say “nice.” Then i go back to eating my crusty artisan style bread baked at 450 in my personal oven. Ive had it, these jokesters dont care like we do so why should i. Lets go Deandre Swift and Michael Pittman whos with me

  20. i wish draft kings worked for me so i could be making 10k w/ the rest of you when the yankees finalize this collapse and lose the division. Instead i’ll just be depressed AND broke :/

  21. Same problem the last three years, only it took till the ASB this year. No sense of urgency. They sent the message at the break, “Ok we’re good, let’s ramp it down.” And when you do that, you send the message that winning isn’t the most important thing.

This mentality has plagued this team for 3 years. They came out with fire this year, but the management team put out the fire at the break.

  22. I’m a Padres fan but consider the Yankees my AL girlfriend team. Watching the Yankees collapse is tough but if Judge is on the Dodgers next year I’m going to have to cut out my eyes.

  23. Convinced Boone is tanking these past 2 months to see just how many stupid fake inspirational quotes he can give to the media lol
