  1. Whether he does or doesn’t isn’t completely indicative on the Raiders performance, but just curious as to what Raiders fans think.

  2. 17 game seasons. This is less than 2 per game if he stays healthy. With Adams, Waller and Renfrow, that should be the floor.

    Excited to see.

  3. I don’t think anything. I don’t do expectations with the Raiders.

I just hope they do a little bit better than the year before.

  4. Well, Greg Olson isn’t calling plays in the red zone and he’s got the most talented receiving Corp in the league. And by the way, his new HC/OC has one of the highest red zone efficiencies amongst OCs last season; so…. Yeah, I think he will exceed 30.

  5. No. And it pains me to say that.
The dude just goes blind in the red zone. If he doesn’t hit a touchdown from 25 plus, its unlikely to happen.

I’m not a Carr hater, you love the guy. Hes great up until red zone, then it seems like he just cannot throw a TD to save his life.
Recall, this dude couldn’t throw over 30 TDs with Crabtree, Amari, Jared Cook. Obviously Davante and Waller are upgrades, but I still dont believe he will throw Huge amount of TDs.

If he was going to, he would have already when the tram was pretty stacked.
I still think we can win a Super Bowl with the guy though. Maybe McDaniels will scheme enough to get Carr comfortable ripping it in the red zone. Who knows

  6. Absolutely, Waller revealed Gruden didn’t even have a plan for him in the RZ. Carr easily over 30 this year.

  7. It comes down to whether he can average 2 TDs a game, which I think he can especially with this offence. This is more of a hot take but I think he’s gonna run in a surprising amount this year, like 4-5 rushing TDs along with 30-33 passing ones. RN4L

  8. In a division with Russell Wilson, Patrick Mahomes and Justin Herbert 30 TDs better be the floor with Derek Carr if the Raiders want to compete in the AFC West. No other division is as loaded at the QB position like the AFC West is.

  9. It would be nice

I only care that we win, be that by the grace of Carr’s arm, or by JJ and the stable’s feet, by Crosby and Jones’ might, or our secondary’s lock down coverage.

Only stat that matters is the W.
