I just came across this. Although the firsts may be worth something that far out, I think this is a horrible trade for Orl. Westbrook is not gonna do anything meaningful for us in the long term and probably not the short term either. Fultz is a better shooter than him as well, and that speaks volumes. JI is just coming back after two years and if he can get back to what he was pre injury he’s one of the best defensive players in the league. If he improves his shooting to an efficient 15+ ppg he could be one of the better players in the league.

This is a horrible trade. Westbrook is so bad and his contract is worse. I love the chemistry this team has developed and I would hate to see it undermined for that package. The Lakers take that trade in a heartbeat.

i wouldnt. i understand that neither of the pieces we’re giving have much trade value, but its still weak. Fultz and Isaac have more potential than the likely late 1sts. We need to see what they can do this season, we dont need to sell low.
