Key notes: no injury designation for Conklin and Felton at KR/PR
Key note 2: That’s how you pronounce Hjalte?!?!?
I was kinda shocked LeCounte made the roster because I thought he looked awful in preseason.
Good for Bell to essentially be our backup FS.
Some highlights for me. Felton listed as KR/PR. Did not know if Walker or Phillips would start. Bell over Lecounte speaks volumes to his potential. Limited DT tells me they may play 3 DEs on line for certain packages
Pronunciation guide hahaha!
Wow ok couple of things that I would like to note at least (even though in unofficial but I mean they have to have some idea right)
1) bell listed as second string and Felton finally listed as a WR
2) Hudson listed as left tackle, finally, I think he’s way more comfortable there. Please stop forcing him to play right tackle. Idk what is with the browns and drafting tackles and making them switch sides.
3) DT depth chart makes me wanna puke
4) only a couple more weeks of seeing woods behind Schwartz (hopefully)
5) Bell leapfrogging LeCounte
Edit: 6) SAM depth. I know we don’t use it everydown but if Takix2 went down I question some of the other LBs ability to play that run stopping force he plays
Phillips still second string behind Walker; Bell second string ahead of LeCounte (not good for LeCounte). Felton the returner.
Defense chart looks good. The WR and QB tho, the WR room is sad to look at and why Mond, that’s a wasted roster spot imo
That’s a good looking secondary.
Now that pronunciation guide is darn useful! I’ve been pronouncing Takitakj wrong all this time.
I know it’s all rotational and I shouldn’t put too much stock into it, but I wonder what the split and playing time that Bryan gets through the first 6 weeks of the year. Obviously keep guys fresh, but, how many snaps a game go to him and in what scenarios/piece of the pie does Winfrey get to build on momentum/get reps?
Did Chase Winovich play in preseason? If so I didn’t see his name called much at all . Isaiah Thomas looks like he has serious potential too, and Alex Wright made some good plays as well. Hopefully those guys can perform well enough to give Garret and Clowney some breathers
