  1. I was living in Chicago during two Cup wins. People who only have Columbus to compare to have no idea what is coming. I’ve also lived in Vegas and Pittsburgh during deep playoff runs. It’s the same everywhere. First round: puckheads are jacked. Round Two: You can feel the hockey in the air. Round Three: The city is near a fever pitch. Everyone is jumping on board. Stanley Cup: The city is basically shut down during games other than bars. Everyone is a huge fan. Winning the Cup: pure chaos. In Chicago, I went to Wrigleyville right after and it was total insanity. Best time ever. A few days later, they had a parade with a couple million there. The free rally at Solder Field required a free ticket that were selling for $200 each. I’d like to compare it to a Buckeye championship, but it’s so much more. The build up of two months of hockey. The inevitable game 7 overtime that could have ended it all. All this is coming to Columbus in the next 3-5 years and I cannot wait. October 14th cannot get here fast enough

  2. I lived in San Antonio during 3 of the Spurs championship seasons. What the OP describes for the Lakers is about half of the duration that San Antonio partied.

Keep some powder dry for the victory parade. Those are the best experience for fans!

  3. We’ll for me id be losing my shit. But the fucking rams need to be moved if your city doesn’t care for your team then they need to be moved!
