First off I haven’t seen the numbers as much recently, but for the longest time guy was literally at a 50% rate throwing people out which is incredible. Two he AND the dugout call a great game. Three Stubbs is the absolute shit. He is completely taking advantage of having the best player to learn from in his situation. And 100% agree about the move to first. Boneheaded comment.
I won’t try to cover it up, I made a comment about early in the season (or maybe it was last year) JT looked like he was cooked behind the plate. His pop time had slowed dramatically and all of his throws were wild to 2nd base, he wasn’t throwing anyone out. I had theorized that his best days were behind him. I would be foolish, however, to not accept the fact that I was wrong and he looks amazing again. I’m glad I was wrong.
